Draft Booster Box

Thirty-six Draft Boosters of fifteen cards plus a token or ad card. LCI limited was built around the descend and craft mechanics and the double-faced cave lands, and it drafted well. Boxes run $250-$340, with TCGplayer mid near $299 and Card Kingdom at $325. Completed private sales sometimes land lower, so it is worth shopping.

Set Booster Box

Thirty packs of twelve cards with an art card, a guaranteed foil, a shot at The List and access to the Jurassic World Collection cards. Boxes sit at $425-$475.

Collector Booster Box

Twelve Collector Boosters of roughly sixteen cards, plus a foil box topper. These are the only boosters in the set with extended-art cards, and the only source of the Cosmium neon ink treatments. Pricing here is unusually divergent: Card Kingdom lists $1,400 and TCGplayer mid sits near $1,430, while completed eBay sales have historically run far lower. Call it a $950-$1,450 band and expect to negotiate.

Bundle and Gift Bundle

The standard Bundle holds eight Set Boosters, a foil promo, forty basic lands, a spindown and a storage box, around $200-$230. The Gift Edition adds a Collector Booster and upgraded packaging and runs $325-$355, which is one of the cheaper ways to open a single factory-sealed LCI Collector Booster.

Commander Decks

Four decks shipped: Ahoy Mateys led by Admiral Brass, Unsinkable; Blood Rites led by Clavileno, First of the Blessed; Explorers of the Deep led by Hakbal of the Surging Soul; and Veloci-Ramp-Tor led by Pantlaza, Sun-Favored. Each includes a Collector Booster Sample Pack and a foil-etched display commander, and they sell for $40-$85.

Prerelease Kit

Six Draft Boosters, a foil year-stamped rare or mythic, a deck box and a spindown die. Kits run $60-$80.

Chase cards and Booster Fun treatments

Cavern of Souls carries this set. The Cosmium neon ink treatment produced six colour variants of the card, Collector Booster exclusive, and they are priced wildly apart: the scarcest variant has sold around $2,450 ungraded and near $6,000 in a PSA 10, while the others range from roughly $80 up to $712. Borderless foil Cavern of Souls sits near $120 and the plain version near $58. If you are buying a neon ink Cavern, identify the exact variant number before agreeing a price, because the spread between them is enormous.

Special Guests debuted with this set: eighteen high-demand reprints given Ixalan-themed art, including a Mana Crypt that also received six Cosmium neon ink versions of its own. The Jurassic World Collection added eighteen original card designs with Jurassic World flavour, available through Set Boosters, Collector Boosters and Bundles rather than as a separate product.

The rest of the treatments cover the dinosaur, vampire, merfolk and pirate showcase frames, borderless planeswalkers, extended art and the gold-rimmed core boss cards. There are no serialized cards in The Lost Caverns of Ixalan.

Is The Lost Caverns of Ixalan worth buying sealed?

LCI has the best sealed story of any in-universe set in this group, and it is still an expensive way to acquire cards. A Cavern of Souls reprint that Modern and Commander both want gives the set a value floor, Special Guests added genuinely scarce reprints, and the set's status as the final Draft and Set Booster release gives it a place in Magic's product history that collectors care about.

Against that, a Collector box at $1,200 or more needs a top-tier neon ink Cavern to beat singles, and most boxes will not produce one. Expected value is below price on all three configurations. The Draft box is the sane purchase if you want to play, and the Gift Bundle is the sane purchase if you want one Collector Booster without buying twelve.

Two cautions. First, the Collector box price spread between retailers and completed sales is the widest of any set here, so do not accept a listing price as market. Second, LCI rotates out of Standard in February 2027, and Wizards has shown it will reprint Cavern of Souls when it wants to. This is a defensible collectible and a weak hold.

How to spot fakes, resealed and mapped boxes

A single neon ink Cavern of Souls is worth more than most sealed boxes, which makes LCI Collector Boosters the highest-risk loose pack purchase in the set. Do not buy loose LCI Collector Boosters from sellers you cannot identify, and treat any listing describing a pack as untouched, heavy or hand-selected as a warning.

On boxes, check that the shrink is tight and evenly tensioned, that seams are machine-cut without overlap, and that there is no adhesive residue or gloss change at the flaps. Confirm the foil box topper is accounted for, since a box that has had its topper removed has been opened. Given the price divergence on this set, also verify the seller's completed-sales history rather than relying on a listing price, and prefer a box pulled from a sealed case in front of you.
