About this show

The Fairfax Sports Card, Pokémon & Collectibles Show returns to the Comfort Inn University Center on Saturday, December 12, 2026, one of the last big card-hunting Saturdays before the holidays. The show gives Northern Virginia shoppers a convenient place to find gifts for sports fans and Pokémon players, and it does so in a compact setting near George Mason University where you can see everything in a couple of hours.

The listing describes more than 500 square feet of baseball, basketball, NASCAR, football, and hockey cards, with about 25 or more tables. Dealers from Virginia, Maryland, and the DC area bring singles, boxes, and packs, along with modern and vintage rookies, autographs, and game-used memorabilia. Pokémon cards and general collectibles complete the picture. For holiday shoppers, this is a useful place to find gifts at a range of price levels.

Hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 12. Admission has not been confirmed on the listing (VERIFY), so check the event page or contact the organizers before you go.

The venue is the Comfort Inn University Center, 11180 Fairfax Boulevard, Fairfax, VA 22030, on Route 50 not far from the Fairfax city center. Parking at the hotel is normally available, but confirm any charges. Gaming Giant is very close, and Collector's World in Annandale is a short drive, so hobby shoppers can build a full itinerary around the show.

This show is a good fit for gift shoppers, casual collectors, sports fans, and families who want a small show with a friendly feel. It can also be a good stop for dealers who want to reach holiday shoppers.

Arrive early for the best pick of rookies and memorabilia, bring cash and a want list, and use your phone to check recent sold prices. For gifts, ask dealers for suggestions, and choose cards that match the recipient's favorite team or player. Keep receipts for higher-priced items, and bring sleeves or a small box to protect purchases.

A December show can also be a good time to sell: dealers often look for inventory to restock after the holiday rush, so if you have cards to sell, bring a short list or a small binder.

Because this is the second Fairfax show in the fall and winter series, dealers who attended in November may bring new material and adjust prices after seeing how the market moved. If you missed something in November, ask whether the seller still has it. Consider bringing a printed or digital list of cards you want, sorted by priority, so you can make quick decisions. And if you need help evaluating condition, ask a dealer to show you what they look for in corners, edges, and surface, a skill that pays off every time you buy.

Details will be posted on the TreasureHunter.show listing, and the same organizers hold the show on other dates at the same hotel.
