About this show

HTX Card Show returns to The Woodlands Waterway Marriott on November 28 and 29, 2026 for a 300-plus table weekend in the Town Center Ballroom, landing squarely on Small Business Saturday and running straight into Sunday. The promoter leans into that timing deliberately: every vendor on the floor is a small business, so a weekend spent buying cards here is a weekend spent supporting independent sellers rather than a big-box register. For a lot of Houston-area collectors it has become the standing Thanksgiving-weekend plan.

The floor covers the full hobby. Sports cards run across MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, boxing, and UFC — vintage slabs, modern chase parallels and autographs, sealed wax worth ripping, and value boxes worth digging through. Pokemon and other trading card games have a substantial presence, along with comics, memorabilia, and general collectibles. With 300-plus tables in a single ballroom, the density is high enough that you can compare the same card at four or five vendors before deciding, which is the real advantage of a show this size.

Ticketing runs two tiers. General admission opens at 10:00 AM Saturday and 11:00 AM Sunday. VIP gets early access ahead of general admission on both days plus double raffle entries, which is the right choice if you want first look at fresh inventory or you are playing the giveaways seriously. Kids five and under are free. Tickets are sold through tickets.txcardshows.com and buying in advance is recommended. Parking at the Waterway Marriott is straightforward and the promoter bills the event as family friendly.

The venue sits at 1601 Lake Robbins Drive in The Woodlands Town Center, overlooking the Waterway and a short walk from Market Street and Waterway Square. That location is a genuine advantage over an isolated convention hall — restaurants, coffee, and shops are steps away, so a group with mixed interests can split off and reconvene without anyone driving. It is also convenient for collectors coming down from Conroe or up I-45 from Houston proper.

This show works for essentially everyone: serious sports collectors chasing grails, Pokemon and TCG players working singles and sealed, families treating it as a holiday-weekend outing, and first-timers who want to see what a real card show floor looks like. The Thanksgiving-weekend date means many attendees have out-of-town family in tow, and the promoter builds the schedule around that.

Practical advice: with 300-plus tables, do a full lap before committing serious money — you will find the same card cheaper two aisles over more often than you expect. Bring cash for the smaller vendors, a written want list, and top loaders or a case for what you buy. If you are buying graded material, confirm the grading company, the label, and the certification number in hand. Saturday morning is best for selection; Sunday afternoon is best for price.
