Eternal Universe Games

82nd Street game store in Lubbock open until midnight Friday and Saturday, with deep trading card stock, Magic play and a close-knit hobby crowd.

Eternal Universe Games sits along 82nd Street in southwest Lubbock and is built for evening play. It keeps long hours, open noon to 10PM most weekdays and until midnight Friday and Saturday, which makes it one of the latest-running card shops in the city.

Customers talk about the stock. One calls the inventory deep, another praises expert service, and a third says the cards sell at very good prices. Magic: The Gathering decks are played on the floor, and the owners and staff are known by name to regulars, a friendly rivalry included.

The environment suits both new and experienced players. Staff are described as approachable and hardworking, which helps if you are asking for guidance on your first booster box.

Weekly schedule: noon to 10PM Monday through Thursday, noon to midnight Friday and Saturday, and noon to 6PM Sunday. You can find the shop at 5217 82nd St, Suite 104, Lubbock, TX 79424, call 806-955-2273, or browse eternaluniversegames.com first.
