Hobby Addicts is an unusual hybrid: half radio-control hobby store, half trading card shop. The Olivina Avenue storefront on Livermore's west side carries RC cars, trucks and crawlers from brands like Traxxas, Arrma, Axial and Kyosho, and the card side has grown into a real reason to visit on its own. Even the store dog has a following.

Magic: The Gathering is the strongest card line. The shop buys and trades Magic cards, keeps singles and sealed product on hand, and draws local players looking for Commander staples. Pokemon and Dragon Ball Super cards are also in the mix, and new sealed Pokemon tends to sell out quickly, so the shop's Discord is the best place to hear about restocks before they disappear. For MTG in Livermore outside downtown, it is a convenient stop.

Board games and hobby supplies round out the shelves, and the online store ships nationwide, with free shipping on larger orders. That makes it handy to check stock on the website before driving over, especially for RC parts or a specific sealed product.
