Ready. Set. Game!

Menifee's own game lounge for Pokemon league play and Magic nights, stocked with TCG sealed product, open tables, and a crowd that shows up to battle.

Tables, not just shelves, define this spot in Cherry Hills Plaza. Ready. Set. Game! was built by Menifee residents Tim and Avie Barron as a gaming store and lounge, and it has grown into the town's go-to room for people who want to open packs and then actually sit down and play them. Reviewers keep returning to the same point: the owner and staff make the place feel welcoming, and regulars describe it as a home base rather than a quick stop.

For card players, the lineup is broad. Pokemon sits alongside Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, Digimon, Star Wars Unlimited, Gundam, Riftbound and Sorcery, so a household split between different games can shop in one trip. The store has run as an official Pokemon league, which makes it a natural first stop for anyone hunting Pokemon cards Menifee families can learn and compete with. Board games, RPGs, Games Workshop miniatures and paints round out the stock for anyone whose hobby spills past cardboard.

The real draw is organized play. Leagues and tournaments cover Magic, Pokemon, Digimon and more, D&D groups meet here, and open tables in the lounge give walk-in players room to trade or test decks. A reservable private room nicknamed The Dungeon handles parties and group sessions, and the shop also offers 3D plastic and resin printing for custom projects plus paint stations for miniature fans.

Timing matters with this Menifee card shop because weekday openings start late. It is closed Mondays, opens at 2PM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and opens at noon Thursday and Friday, with Friday running until 11PM for the late crowd. Saturday is the longest day at 10AM to 9PM, and Sunday runs noon to 8PM. Check the store's event calendar or social channels before heading over on a tournament night to see what is scheduled.

You'll find the store at 26830 Cherry Hills Blvd in the 92586 part of Menifee, near Sun City. Call 951-800-3525 with stock or event questions, or look up @rsgmenifee on Instagram and Facebook for announcements.
