Hidden Discoveries

Husband-and-wife hobby store in Stockton stocking multiple TCGs, sports cards, LEGO figures and Hello Kitty merch, with a rewards program for kids.

Hidden Discoveries is a newer family-run shop on North Pershing Avenue in Stockton, and its mix is wider than a pure card store. The shelves cover several trading card games alongside sports cards, LEGO minifigures and Sanrio-style merchandise, so a family can send the kids to the card wall while a parent browses something else. Visitors note that the fit-out was still being finished, with a clean, modern look taking shape.

Cards are the anchor. Several TCG lines are stocked next to sports cards, which makes it a practical stop for someone who collects across more than one hobby. With only a handful of public reviews so far, this is a young listing, but those who have stopped in praise how helpful the owners are and how welcoming the room feels, particularly for first-time buyers.

One detail that sets the shop apart is a rewards program aimed at kids. A parent mentioned bringing their son back whenever he earns rewards, which turns trips to the store into a small incentive loop. For a trading cards Stockton family looking for something low-pressure, that is a friendly hook.

Plan visits around the posted hours: closed Monday and Tuesday, 11AM to 6:30PM Wednesday, 11AM to 7PM Thursday and Friday, 1PM to 7PM Saturday and 1:30PM to 6PM Sunday. Late-week afternoons are the easiest time to browse without crowds, and weekends suit families.
