🃏 About This Event

The Arlington Card Show moves up a weight class on Sunday, September 6, 2026, trading its usual recreation-center room for the Bob Duncan Center — a full municipal event hall on South Center Street with the floor space to carry more than a hundred vendor tables. For a series that built its reputation on friendly neighborhood shows, this is the big-room edition, and it lands on Labor Day weekend when the whole Metroplex is off work.

The hundred-plus tables cover an unusually complete slice of the hobby. Pokemon leads, as it does at every show this organizer touches, spanning WOTC-era vintage, graded slabs, modern sealed product and enormous single binders. One Piece and Dragon Ball have grown into full sections of their own. Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana and Riftbound all have dedicated dealers. On the sports side, expect MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL singles from vintage through modern chrome, graded PSA, BGS and SGC material, sealed wax, and Cowboys, Rangers, Mavericks and Stars inventory that always moves in this building. Mixed collectibles, toys, anime goods and memorabilia fill the remaining tables. Hourly giveaways run all day, a trademark of the series.

The show is a single Sunday session running 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM — a longer window than the organizer's Meadowbrook shows, and long enough to walk the room twice without rushing. The opening ninety minutes are the most competitive; the final hour is when vendors start making offers rather than waiting for them.

Admission is $5 at the door, and children five and under enter free with a paid adult. There is no separate VIP tier at this edition, so everyone walks in together at 10:30 AM — a fairness that regulars appreciate. Tickets are available through the show's Treasure listing or at the door.

The Bob Duncan Center sits at 2800 South Center Street in Arlington, inside Vandergriff Park, with more than 400 free parking spaces around the building. Access is straightforward from I-20 and Highway 287, and the venue is roughly ten minutes from the entertainment district, AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field. South Cooper Street a mile west has as much food as you could want.

This edition suits everyone. Serious collectors get a hundred tables to comparison-shop graded cards properly, which a forty-table show cannot offer. Families get an affordable, air-conditioned, genuinely kid-friendly Sunday with cosplay welcome and food on site. First-timers get a well-organized room where the dealers are local regulars rather than out-of-town circuit sellers. Traders get one of the more binder-friendly crowds in Texas.

Strategy: get there for the 10:30 AM open if you are chasing specific cards, since the best inventory changes hands early. Bring cash, both for pricing leverage and because a few smaller tables stay cash-only. Do a full reconnaissance lap and note prices before you buy anything, because at this table count the same card frequently appears at three different asks. Keep something back for the hourly giveaways and the impulse find you did not plan for.
