🎪 About This Event

DFW TCG-Con takes over the Mesquite Convention Center on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM with 250-plus vendors on the floor. This is a proper convention-scale trading card event rather than a card show in a hotel ballroom, and it anchors the east side of the Metroplex — a part of the region that otherwise gets very little of this kind of programming.

The vendor mix is emphatically trading card game focused. Pokemon commands the largest share, spanning WOTC-era vintage in graded holders, Japanese and international product, modern sealed boxes and bundles, promos, and an enormous volume of singles across every set. Yu-Gi-Oh! has a serious presence here, more so than at most DFW shows, with structure decks, tournament staples, ghost rares and vintage Blue-Eyes-era material. One Piece and Dragon Ball Super both draw multiple dealers. Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana and newer entrants fill in the rest. Sealed and graded product is a particular focus of the series. Beyond cards, expect anime collectibles, figures, plush, supplies, custom art and merchandise tables.

Hours are one Sunday session, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. At 250 vendors that is roughly seven and a half hours to cover a lot of ground, so plan a route rather than wandering. The first hour belongs to the buyers chasing specific graded cards; the last hour is where the flexible pricing lives.

VERIFY: admission was not published on the listing at generation time. Check the event's Treasure page for the door price and whether an early-access tier is being sold before you plan your arrival. Parking at the Mesquite Convention Center is on site.

The Mesquite Convention Center is at 1700 Rodeo Drive in Mesquite, just off I-635 and Military Parkway on the east side of the Metroplex. From Arlington the drive is roughly 40 to 45 minutes via I-30 or I-20 east — a straightforward run, and one that avoids the northbound traffic that makes the Lewisville shows a chore. The Town East corridor a few minutes away has ample food.

Who should attend? Pokemon collectors wanting a 250-vendor floor without paying national-convention prices. Yu-Gi-Oh! players and collectors specifically, because the depth in that game is better here than at most regional shows. Anyone hunting sealed product, since the series draws dealers who specialize in it. East-side collectors from Mesquite, Garland, Rockwall, Forney and Sunnyvale who rarely get an event this size close to home. And families, since convention centers make for easy navigation with kids.

Tips: arrive at 9:30 AM if you are chasing a specific card, because a floor this size gets picked over faster than the vendor count suggests. Bring cash and a phone with a comparable-sales app. Do a reconnaissance lap and photograph asks before buying anything. Bring sleeves and a top-loader or two for whatever you take home. Park early — Sunday convention center lots fill.
