🎪 About This Event

DFW TCG-Con returns to the Mesquite Convention Center on Sunday, December 27, 2026 from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM with 250-plus vendors. The date is the point: the Sunday after Christmas is when the hobby's post-holiday economy kicks in. People have gift money to spend, they have duplicate cards to trade, and dealers who cleared inventory in December are restocking. It reliably produces one of the most active trading floors of the year.

The vendor mix is emphatically trading card game focused. Pokemon commands the largest share — WOTC-era vintage in graded holders, Japanese and international product, modern sealed boxes and bundles, promos, and an enormous volume of singles across every set. Yu-Gi-Oh! has an unusually strong presence at this series compared with other DFW shows, covering structure decks, tournament staples, ghost rares and vintage Blue-Eyes-era material. One Piece and Dragon Ball Super each draw multiple dealers. Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana and newer entrants fill in the remainder. Sealed and graded product are particular specialties of this series. Beyond cards you will find anime collectibles, figures, plush, supplies, custom art and merchandise tables.

Hours are a single Sunday session, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. With 250 vendors that is roughly seven and a half hours, so plan a route through the floor rather than wandering. The opening hour belongs to buyers chasing specific graded cards. The final hour is when year-end pricing turns flexible, since nobody wants to carry inventory into a new tax year.

VERIFY: admission was not published on the listing at generation time. Check the show's Treasure page for the door price and whether early access is being sold. Parking at the Mesquite Convention Center is on site.

The Mesquite Convention Center is at 1700 Rodeo Drive, just off I-635 and Military Parkway on the east side of the Metroplex. From Arlington the drive is roughly 40 to 45 minutes east via I-30 or I-20 — a straightforward run that avoids the northbound congestion of the Lewisville shows. The Town East corridor a few minutes away has ample food.

Who should attend? Anyone with holiday gift money and a want list. Pokemon collectors wanting a 250-vendor floor without national-convention pricing. Yu-Gi-Oh! players and collectors specifically, since the depth here beats most regional shows. Traders, because the post-Christmas floor is thick with people looking to swap duplicates. East-side collectors from Mesquite, Garland, Rockwall, Forney and Sunnyvale who rarely get an event this size nearby. And families looking for something to do in the dead week between the holidays.

Tips: arrive at 9:30 AM if you are chasing a specific card, because a floor this size gets picked over faster than the vendor count suggests. Bring cash and a comparable-sales app. Do a reconnaissance lap and photograph asks before buying. Bring sleeves and top-loaders for whatever you take home, and bring your duplicates — trade volume on this date is exceptional. Park early, since post-holiday Sunday lots fill.
