🃏 About This Event

The summer G.A.S. Card Show brings 220 tables back to The Pavilion at John Knox Village in Lee's Summit, Missouri on Saturday and Sunday, June 12 and 13, 2027. June is the sweet spot of the card show calendar in Kansas City — school is out, the baseball season is in full swing, and the summer edition consistently draws the widest cross-section of collectors of any Lee's Summit weekend.

The floor is as complete as this market gets. MLB dominates in June, with vintage Topps and Bowman, Royals and Cardinals inventory, mid-season rookie cards and prospect product across dozens of tables. NFL stays strong year-round here on the strength of Chiefs demand — rookies, autographs, patch cards and vintage Kansas City football. NBA finals-season product, NHL, college, soccer, UFC and boxing all have representation. Graded slabs from PSA, BGS and SGC fill case after case, and raw vintage dealers work 1950s through 1980s material for collectors who prefer cards to plastic. Trading card game vendors carry Pokemon sealed and singles, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana and Dragon Ball Z. Memorabilia tables offer signed jerseys, helmets, baseballs and photographs, game-used items, comics, bobbleheads and Funko Pops.

Hours are Saturday, June 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, June 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday morning is the competitive window for high-end singles. Saturday evening, with the room thinning and two hours still on the clock, is quietly one of the best times to buy. Sunday afternoon is the weekend's softest pricing.

Admission is $5 daily or $8 for the full weekend at the door, with children 12 and under free. There is no VIP tier or early-entry upgrade at the Lee's Summit shows. No advance purchase needed.

The Pavilion at John Knox Village is at 520 NW Murray Road in Lee's Summit, with a large free parking lot at the venue. The hall is a single open room on one level, air conditioned, and comfortable for a long summer day. Hotel discount codes for travelling attendees are posted on the G.A.S. website. Lee's Summit restaurants along Chipman Road and NW Blue Parkway are a short drive.

With school out, this is the most family-friendly of the Lee's Summit weekends, and $8 for two days with free entry for kids makes it easy. Young collectors do well here because so many dealers bring dollar boxes in June. Serious buyers get the largest dealer count in the metro. Sellers should come Saturday morning and ask who is actively buying.

To work a 220-table room properly: lap the whole hall before you spend, noting what is where. Bring plenty of cash in mixed denominations. Keep a written want list. Bundle your negotiations rather than haggling card by card. Hydrate and pace yourself — nine hours on a concrete floor is longer than it sounds. And if you can come both days, buy the irreplaceable things Saturday and save the rest for Sunday afternoon.

The full G.A.S. tour calendar, dealer table pricing and hotel discount information are published at gas-shows.com, with vendor announcements posted on Facebook ahead of each show.
