🃏 About This Event

The final J & J All Stars Card Show of 2026 fills Lyons Hall at Our Mother of Sorrows on Saturday, December 19, 2026 — the last Saturday before Christmas and the promoter's closing date of the year. Jeff Meyrose's roughly 130-table floor is the largest recurring free-admission card show in Louisville, and the pre-Christmas edition carries an atmosphere all its own: part shopping run, part reunion, with regulars who have crossed paths at Lyons Hall all year settling up trades and swapping plans for the spring.

The timing makes this a genuine bargain hunt. Dealers who want the year closed out with cash rather than cardboard price accordingly, and it is common to see cases that held firm through the fall marked down in the final weeks of December. Gift-tier material is stocked heavily — sealed blasters and hanger boxes, complete factory sets, player lots, starter collections and cheap bulk that lets a kid fill a binder for very little. If you are shopping for someone else, the range here beats any retail option in the city.

The seasonal mix is at its broadest. College basketball is in full swing, and Kentucky Wildcats and Louisville Cardinals hoops inventory trades as actively as anything on the floor — this is one of the few markets where college basketball cards compete directly with the NFL for attention. Football is in the playoff push, the NBA and NHL are well underway, and baseball's offseason quiet puts MLB vintage and modern at their most affordable point of the year.

Across 130 tables, sports dealers carry MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, MMA, soccer and college in every era: pre-war tobacco and Goudey, 1950s and 1960s Topps and Bowman, 1970s and 1980s Topps, Fleer and Donruss, enormous cheap 1990s junk-wax boxes, and modern Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, Mosaic, Topps Chrome, Bowman Chrome and Bowman Draft. Premium tables run Topps Dynasty, National Treasures, Flawless and Immaculate, with PSA, BGS, SGC and CGC graded slabs in locked cases at every price tier. Louisville specialties are a real draw — Muhammad Ali boxing memorabilia, Kentucky Derby and thoroughbred racing collectibles, Louisville Bats items and deep Cincinnati Reds, Bengals and Indianapolis Colts inventory. Trading card game vendors stock Pokémon singles and sealed from WOTC Base, Jungle, Fossil and Team Rocket through Scarlet and Violet plus Japanese exclusives, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece TCG, Disney Lorcana, Dragon Ball Z Fusion World, Digimon and Star Wars Unlimited. Autographed memorabilia, comics, Funko Pops and supplies complete the floor.

This is a one-day show running 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Eastern. Five hours across 130 tables is workable if you plan — do a fast survey lap first, mark targets, then circle back to negotiate.

Admission is free for everyone with no VIP or early-entry tier, and children are admitted free. Dealers here routinely hand young collectors free packs and player cards, which makes the last show of the year a memorable first show for a kid. Table reservations and vendor inquiries go to Jeff Meyrose at 317-504-8110 or through the J & J All Star Sportscards website.

Our Mother of Sorrows Lyons Hall is at 774 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, KY 40217, in Germantown just south of the Highlands and minutes from I-65. The hall is climate-controlled, single-level and ADA-accessible, with free on-site and street parking.

Arrive at 9:00 AM, bring cash plus Venmo, Zelle and PayPal, carry a sorted want list, and pack sleeves, top loaders and a hard case.
