🃏 About This Event

Friday, September 18, 2026 puts the LA Card Dude Show in the Toyota Meeting Hall at the Torrance Civic Center from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Most of this promoter's Friday dates run in the Nakano hall, so a Friday in the Toyota room is a slightly different experience — a wider floor plate, a different table layout, and a room that handles a full evening crowd without the aisles narrowing.

Friday nights here function as much as a trade night as a shopping night. Collectors bring binders. Dealers bring binders. Deals get built out of three cards and some cash rather than a straight purchase, and because the session runs six hours nobody is rushing the negotiation. That is the reason to come with something to offer rather than just a wallet.

The inventory covers the full range. Sports tables run MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL across vintage and modern, with prospect and rookie stock, autograph and patch cards, and boxing and UFC material. Graded slabs are abundant across PSA, CGC, SGC and Beckett. Pokemon anchors the trading card game side with sealed product, singles and vintage holos, and Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece and Lorcana are all present. Several dealers run raw vintage bins, and there are usually supply vendors selling sleeves, toploaders and storage.

The show runs one 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM session with no early-access tier. Door pricing is not published by the promoter, so confirm admission through LA Card Dude's social channels before you make the drive.

The venue is at 3330 Civic Center Drive North, Torrance 90503, in the Torrance Cultural Arts Center complex. Parking in the civic center lots is free and simple on a Friday evening. The hall is fully accessible with restrooms on site. From Long Beach it is about twenty minutes on the 405; from the Palos Verdes peninsula or Redondo it is closer to ten. Old Torrance and the Sepulveda corridor offer serious dinner options if you want to break the evening in half.

The attendee mix skews adult — weekend workers, local dealers, and collectors who prefer negotiating to browsing. Families with young children should look at the Sunday daytime dates instead.

To get the most out of it, arrive early for first look and stay late for the discounts, because the final hour of a Friday night show is genuinely the cheapest window in this series. Bring cash, and bring it in mixed denominations so you are not asking a dealer to break a hundred on a twenty-dollar card. Bring your trade binder organized so a dealer can flip it in ninety seconds — badly organized binders kill trades. Know your comps but do not lead with a screenshot; ask what the dealer needs to get, then work from there. Pack sleeves and toploaders for raw pickups.
