Maximum Card Show returns to San Diego on Saturday, November 28, 2026, and moves to the waterfront for its second visit, taking over the Eventide Pavilion at the Sheraton San Diego Resort on Harbor Island. After a well-received August debut, the West Coast promoter is scaling up with more than 200 tables, a glass-walled pavilion overlooking the marina, and a Thanksgiving-weekend date that makes it the biggest Pokemon-focused show in Southern California to close out the year.
The floor is packed primarily with Pokemon and other trading card games. Expect slabs, singles, sealed product, vintage cards, grails, full collections, and value boxes from local and traveling vendors. Beyond Pokemon, you will find One Piece Card Game, Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Dragon Ball Fusion World. A smaller group of vendors carries sports cards across MLB, NBA, NFL, and soccer, and pop-culture collectibles appear at several tables. Buying, selling, and trading are all encouraged, and vendors are actively purchasing collections.
VIP entry begins at 9:15 AM, general admission opens at 10:00 AM, and the show closes at 5:00 PM. VIP attendees get forty-five minutes of early access to walk all 200-plus tables, see fresh inventory, and make deals before the general crowd arrives.
Tickets are sold online through Eventeny. General admission is eight dollars in advance and fifteen dollars at the door, and VIP early entry is fifteen dollars. Kids ten and under are free and do not need a ticket; they may enter with a ticketed parent or guardian, including during VIP entry. The first 100 VIP attendees receive a free Maximum Card Show prize bag while supplies last. Have your Eventeny QR code ready to scan; you will receive a wristband that allows re-entry all day.
The Sheraton San Diego Resort is located at 1380 Harbor Island Drive, San Diego, CA 92101, minutes from the airport and downtown. The Eventide Pavilion is a separate waterfront building outside the main hotel; park in the Sheraton self-parking lot, then walk toward the water and follow event signage. Discounted Sheraton self-parking is expected to be twenty dollars, with independent lots around Harbor Island sometimes available for around ten dollars. Allow extra time to park and walk over, especially for VIP.
