The New York Evolving TCG Show returns to the Four Points by Sheraton Flushing on Saturday, October 24, 2026, for its October edition, and with the fall Pokemon set releases landing in the weeks before, this is the date when a lot of Queens collectors go hunting for the newest chase cards. The format is the one Evolving TCG has refined across its New York and New Jersey shows: more than 100 vendor tables, a VIP tier with early entry, kids under 10 free, and an exclusive end-of-day trade night for vendors and VIP holders.
The floor is all trading card games. Pokemon is the center of the room, and in late October expect a heavy supply of freshly released sealed product, the newest special illustration rares, and Japanese product that arrives ahead of the English release, alongside vintage WOTC holos and graded slabs from PSA, CGC, and BGS. One Piece is the strong second, with leaders, mangas, and sealed cases. Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana, Dragon Ball, and Union Arena are all represented, and supplies and collectibles round out the mix. Trading is constant.
The schedule is tiered. VIP entry is at 10:00 AM with shopping until 4:30 PM, followed by the VIP-and-vendor-only Trade Night from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. General admission runs 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Kids under 10 are free. Tickets are sold in advance at evolvingtcg.net, and VIP regularly sells out, so buy ahead if the trade night is your goal. Costumes are welcome given the Halloween weekend timing, though the show does not require them.
The Four Points by Sheraton is at 33-68 Farrington Street in downtown Flushing, a short walk from the Flushing-Main Street 7 train terminal and the LIRR Port Washington branch, with Q buses converging on Main Street. Hotel and municipal parking are available for a fee but fill early on Saturdays, so transit is the easier choice. Downtown Flushing's food scene is a major bonus for a lunch break.
Who should attend: Pokemon collectors chasing the new fall sets, One Piece players and collectors, serious traders who want the curated VIP trade night, families with young kids who get in free, and dealers looking for one of the strongest TCG buying crowds in the city. First-timers will find VIP worth the price if they plan to trade.
Tips: buy VIP early, arrive at 10:00 AM for first pick of new product, bring cash and a sleeved binder, and know your comps on new set cards, which fluctuate quickly. Loop the whole room before buying, as the same chase cards appear at many tables. The series continues November 14 and December 13, 2026.
