The Hofstra Show is Long Island's premier sports card and autograph weekend, and the fall edition takes over the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex at Hofstra University in Hempstead on Saturday and Sunday, October 24 and 25, 2026. Run by JP's Sports and Rock Solid Promotions, it combines a large dealer floor with free autograph guest appearances, on-site authentication and grading, and custom framing, making it the closest thing the region has to a national-style convention at a fraction of the price.
The dealer floor is sports-first and deep. Baseball, basketball, football, and hockey are all represented at scale, from vintage Topps, Bowman, and pre-war cards to modern Chrome, Prizm, Select, and National Treasures, with graded slabs from every major grader and a large memorabilia presence: signed balls, jerseys, photos, helmets, and game-used items. A growing number of tables carry Pokemon and other trading card games, and supplies vendors are on hand. The show is known for its private-signing inventory, so autographed items with authentication are plentiful.
Hours by day: Saturday, October 24 runs 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday, October 25 runs 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission is 15 dollars per day, cash only at the door, and kids under 12 are free with a paid adult. Free autograph guest appearances happen both days with paid admission; autograph tickets for guests are sold on site by cash or credit, with a 3.5 percent fee on card purchases. Beckett Authentication, JSA, and CAS authenticate on site all weekend, and Beckett Grading and CGC accept submissions, with a Beckett special of 10 dollars for items signed by show guests. SMR Collectibles runs a PSA drop-off, and Triana Custom Framing is on site.
The Mack Complex is at 245 Hofstra Northern Boulevard on the Hofstra campus, off Hempstead Turnpike near the Meadowbrook Parkway. Parking is free in the campus lots adjacent to the arena. By transit, the Hempstead LIRR station is a short bus or rideshare ride away, and the N70, N71, and N72 buses serve Hempstead Turnpike. Hempstead Turnpike has plenty of restaurants, and the campus has concessions.
Who should attend: autograph collectors who want to meet guests and get items authenticated on the spot, serious sports card buyers, vintage collectors, families with kids under 12 who get in free, and dealers who want a two-day Long Island crowd. First-timers should plan a full day.
