🃏 About This Event

The Odessa Cards & Collectibles Show runs Saturday and Sunday, August 22 and 23, 2026 at the Ector County Coliseum, and it is the largest general-interest card show in the Permian Basin. The Coliseum is a working rodeo and event arena with a big open floor, which means this show gets table counts that smaller hotel-ballroom shows simply cannot match. For collectors in far West Texas and southern New Mexico, it is the closest thing to a metro-scale show without driving to Dallas or Phoenix.

The floor is broad rather than specialized. Sports dealers make up the largest share, with MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, UFC, boxing, and college football inventory spanning pre-war tobacco and vintage Topps, Bowman, Fleer, Goudey, and Play Ball, through 1980s and 1990s wax and monster boxes, into current-year Panini Prizm, Donruss, Donruss Optic, Select, Mosaic, Topps Chrome, and Bowman Draft. Premium product like National Treasures, Flawless, Immaculate, and Topps Dynasty turns up in the locked cases. West Texas being West Texas, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, and Texas Tech Red Raiders material moves faster than anything else in the building, and high school football memorabilia has its own small but devoted following here.

Trading card games hold a solid share of the tables: Pokemon singles and sealed from vintage WOTC through current Scarlet & Violet and Japanese imports, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z Fusion World. Graded slabs from PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC fill display cases across the room. Non-card collectibles round it out with autographed memorabilia, jerseys, comics, Funko Pops, toys, and hobby supplies.

Saturday hours are 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Central Time, a long day that gives you time to do the floor properly. Sunday runs 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central Time, a shorter session where dealers are visibly more flexible on price. Note that Odessa is on Central Time while El Paso is on Mountain Time. Admission pricing is not published on the aggregators, so confirm the door price with the promoter before traveling; shows at this venue have historically run in the low single digits with kids free.

The Ector County Coliseum is at 4201 Andrews Highway, Odessa, TX 79762, with large free on-site parking lots and easy access from Loop 338 and I-20. The building is climate-controlled, which matters in a West Texas August, and the arena floor layout means wide aisles and good sightlines down each row.

Who should attend: sports card collectors of every level, families, dealers looking to buy in bulk, and Borderland collectors willing to make the roughly five-hour drive east from El Paso for a weekend with real inventory depth.

Tips: do a full lap before spending, since the room is big enough that the best price on a given card is rarely at the first table you see. Bring cash. Carry a want list sorted by sport, team, and player, and bring penny sleeves, top loaders, and a hard slab case. Come Saturday for selection and Sunday afternoon for the best offers on anything still on the table.
