🃏 About This Event

757 Card Shows kicks off its biggest weekend of the summer with Trade Night at the Virginia Beach Fieldhouse on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Held the evening before the Fieldhouse's massive two-day collectible show, Trade Night has become a beloved tradition in the Hampton Roads hobby — a low-key, high-energy evening where the tables belong to the collectors rather than the dealers.

The format is simple and social. Collectors from across the region bring their binders, boxes, and slabs and spend three hours trading face to face. You will see every corner of the hobby represented: modern baseball, basketball, and football rookies and parallels, vintage cardboard, graded slabs, Pokemon binders stuffed with chase cards, plus Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, and Lorcana. Because many of the weekend's vendors arrive early to set up, it is also a great chance to talk shop with dealers before the Saturday crowds hit, and deals frequently get done Friday night that would be impossible in the Saturday rush.

Trade Night runs a single three-hour session, 6:00 to 9:00 PM, and 757 Card Shows has traditionally kept it free to attend with free parking in the Fieldhouse lot. That makes it one of the best zero-cost hobby nights anywhere in Virginia — confirm details on 757cardshows.com before heading out.

The Virginia Beach Fieldhouse sits at 2020 Landstown Center Way in the Princess Anne area, just off Dam Neck Road and Princess Anne Road with easy access from the Amphitheater exit corridor. The building is a full-scale indoor sports complex, so there is abundant parking, plenty of room, and an on-site grille for food and drinks while you trade.

Who is Trade Night for? Honestly, anyone with a binder. Newer collectors get a friendly introduction to face-to-face trading and quickly learn how the local community values cards. Veteran traders treat it as the best liquidity event of the month — a room full of motivated counterparties the night before a major show. Families are welcome, and it is a fantastic way for younger Pokemon collectors to make trades in a safe, supervised setting rather than online.

A few pointers: organize your trade material before you arrive, because well-sorted binders get far more action than shoeboxes. Know your comps — most traders here work off recent sales, so having a price app handy keeps negotiations smooth. Bring supplies to protect incoming cards, and consider bringing a few slabs or hits even if you mostly collect base; premium pieces start conversations. And if you are attending Saturday's show too, use Friday night to scout — you will walk in the next morning already knowing which dealers have your want list covered.
