🃏 About This Event

The SuperRare Cards & Collectibles Show returns to its home base on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 1900 Pavilion Drive in Virginia Beach. After a summer that included the series' arena-sized August stop at Chartway Arena in Norfolk, this September date brings the show back to the comfortable oceanfront-adjacent ballroom where it built its reputation — and back to the format local collectors know and like: tight dealer mix, easy logistics, and zero-cost entry.

The dealer roster at SuperRare shows consistently covers the whole hobby. Sports card collectors will find modern and vintage baseball, basketball, and football, along with hockey, UFC, boxing, and soccer, in every condition and price bracket from quarter boxes to PSA, BGS, and SGC graded slabs. On the trading card game side, Pokemon anchors the room, with strong support for Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z singles and sealed product. Comics, memorabilia, Funko Pops, and hobby supplies round out the tables, so you can grab sleeves and toploaders for the day's pickups on your way out.

This is a single-day show, and previous editions at the DoubleTree have run 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with free admission and free parking in the hotel lot. As always, check the organizer's event page or the Virginia Card Shows calendar for final hours before making the trip.

The DoubleTree sits at the corner of Pavilion Drive just off the Birdneck Road exit of Interstate 264, directly across from the Virginia Beach Convention Center and less than a mile from the boardwalk. September is arguably the best month to combine a show visit with the oceanfront — summer crowds are gone, the weather is still warm, and parking everywhere is easier.

The show works for every experience level. Families and young collectors get a low-stakes, welcoming environment where twenty dollars still buys a great afternoon. Set builders and nostalgia hunters can burn hours in the discount and vintage boxes. Advanced collectors and flippers treat SuperRare dates as consistent inventory-refresh stops, since the dealer group rotates enough between shows to keep the material fresh, and fall shows benefit from collections that surface after the summer.

Make the most of the day by arriving early — the first hour is when the best vintage and hottest modern cards change hands. Bring cash for negotiating power, keep a want list on your phone, and carry protection for your purchases. If football season has you chasing rookies, this mid-September date lands right as the NFL season opens, which historically makes it a lively show for football singles — sell into the hype or buy your targets before breakout performances move prices.
