About This Event

The PokéNostalgia Card Show returns to NTX Arena on Sunday, October 11, 2026 with 300-plus vendor tables spread across the arena's second floor. Presented by Arlington Card Shows, this series has become the region's specialist event for vintage-leaning Pokemon collecting — the room where Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, Team Rocket and Neo-era cards get proper display space instead of being buried behind this month's release.

Across 300 tables the Pokemon depth is the main event: graded vintage in PSA, BGS and CGC slabs, raw holos and first editions in top loaders, sealed booster boxes both current and long out of print, elite trainer boxes, Japanese and Korean exclusives, promos, error cards, and binder after binder of playable singles at prices that make sense for actual decks. One Piece and Dragon Ball each hold substantial sections. Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering and Lorcana dealers fill out the TCG floor. A dedicated Sports Corner keeps MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL collectors occupied with graded slabs, sealed wax and singles. Around the perimeter you will find anime figures, plush, Funko Pops, supplies, artist prints and custom work. Thousands of dollars in giveaways run through the day and food vendors work the floor.

Hours are one Sunday session, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Eight hours on a floor this size is about right — most attendees do a morning pass, break for food, and come back for a second look at whatever they flagged.

Admission is $6 for this October edition, and children five and under enter free with a paid adult. Every ticket doubles as an entry into the prize drawings, so keep your stub. A $10 VIP tier has been offered at editions of this series, granting floor access at 9:00 AM plus exclusive VIP giveaways — check the Treasure listing to confirm whether VIP is on sale for this date. Parking at NTX Arena is free.

NTX Arena is at 2401 South Stemmons Freeway in Lewisville, directly off I-35E, purpose-built for shows of this scale with a large air-conditioned floor. From Arlington the drive is roughly 35 to 40 minutes via Highway 360 to I-635 and north, or straight up I-35E. The Vista Mall complex and the Stemmons corridor put plenty of restaurants within five minutes.

Who should go? Vintage Pokemon collectors above all — this is the deepest concentration of pre-2003 material in North Texas outside a national convention. Modern collectors benefit from having enough dealers to price-shop a card properly instead of accepting the first ask. Families do fine on six-dollar admission with free entry for the youngest. Traders should bring binders, because this crowd trades hard. Sellers get multiple buying tables in a single afternoon.

Tips: be at the door for the 9:00 AM open if a specific graded card is your target, because the vintage cases are worked over within the first hour. Bring cash. Photograph asks on your first lap, then negotiate on the second. Bring a loupe or good pocket light if you are buying raw vintage, where centering and edge wear decide the price. Keep your ticket for the drawings.
