🎪 About This Event

The Sacramento Card Show returns to the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center from Friday, November 20 through Sunday, November 22, and this edition comes with a detail the organizers are clearly proud of: the show is moving back into Hall C, the original room where it built its reputation. Three hundred vendor tables are on the floor plan. This is the largest dedicated card event in the Sacramento region and the one date on the calendar that pulls dealers in from Southern California, Nevada, Oregon and beyond.

The vendor mix is published by the promoter and it is broad by design: sports cards, trading card games generally, Magic: The Gathering specifically, One Piece, Funko Pops, autographed memorabilia and on-site card grading submissions. In practice that means baseball, basketball, football and hockey inventory running from pre-war through current-year sealed wax; deep graded selections across PSA, BGS, SGC and CGC; Pokemon in volume including Japanese product and slabbed vintage; Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana and Dragon Ball Z; game-used memorabilia and signed jerseys, balls and photographs; and full supplies vendors. The grading submission tables are a real convenience — you can hand off raw cards on Saturday without packing and shipping them yourself.

Day by day, this is a three-day event. Friday, November 20 is the opening session and historically the quietest, which makes it the best day for unhurried conversations with dealers and first look at freshly unpacked inventory. Saturday, November 21 is the peak day with the fullest roster and heaviest attendance. Sunday, November 22 closes the weekend and is the traditional bargaining day, when dealers would rather discount than repack for a long drive home. Specific daily hours are not published for this edition — that detail carries a verification flag, as does ticket pricing. The promoter's Eventbrite link currently points at the retired August ticket page, so check sacramentocardshow916.com or the show's Instagram for live ticketing before you go.

The SAFE Credit Union Convention Center sits at 1401 K Street in downtown Sacramento, walking distance from the Capitol, Old Sacramento and the K Street entertainment corridor. Several paid parking garages and surface lots surround the building; the promoter notes multiple convenient options nearby. Light rail stops within a few blocks, which is the smart play on Saturday. Downtown restaurants are abundant, and DOCO near Golden 1 Center is a ten-minute walk.

Who should come? Serious collectors and dealers should treat this as the region's must-attend date. Families will find plenty at the affordable end, and the convention center's scale means room for strollers. Competitive TCG players get a large enough vendor pool that competing prices actually work in their favor. First-timers should come Friday or Sunday rather than Saturday.

Tips: set a budget before you walk in, because three hundred tables will test it. Bring cash. Bring a want list with comps loaded on your phone. Wear comfortable shoes. Do a full lap before buying anything. Save meaningful money for Sunday afternoon. And if you plan to submit for grading, bring your cards already sleeved and in top loaders with a written list.
