Pokemon anchors the trading card game vendors with sealed product, singles and vintage holos, and Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana and Dragon Ball Super all appear. Old Torrance is a short walk and the surrounding Japanese restaurant district makes a natural dinner break mid-show.
The crowd is South Bay regulars — collectors from Torrance, Redondo, Gardena, Carson, Long Beach and the peninsula who can make a weeknight drive. It is a good room for a newer collector because the pace allows actual conversation, and a good room for a serious buyer because the dealers here will dig out material they do not display.
