The LA Card Dude Show closes out October on Friday, October 30, 2026, with a 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM session in the recreation center building at 3341 Civic Center Drive, Torrance. Halloween eve is an unusual slot for a card show and it works in the buyer's favor. Attendance on the night before a major holiday is lighter than a normal Friday, which means less competition for the good material and dealers who are more inclined to make a deal rather than pack a full case back into the truck.

Sports tables run MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL across vintage and modern, with rookie and prospect inventory, autographed inserts, relic and patch cards, and boxing and UFC material. Graded slabs across PSA, CGC, SGC and Beckett in every price band. Pokemon vendors with sealed English and Japanese product, singles binders and vintage holos, plus Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana and Dragon Ball Super. Raw bins, dollar boxes and supply vendors selling sleeves, toploaders and storage.

The recreation center is at 3341 Civic Center Drive, Torrance 90503, adjacent to the Cultural Arts Center halls used on other dates in this series. Free civic center parking is easy, and on a night when most of the South Bay is out trick-or-treating or at parties, it will be easier than usual. The building is single level and accessible with restrooms on site. Old Torrance dining is a short walk if you want to eat before or between.
This is a buyer's night rather than a browsing night, and it suits collectors comfortable making offers. Families are welcome but most people with young children have other plans on October 30.
How to work it: identify what a dealer clearly wants gone and build a bundle around it, because month-end multi-card deals are where the real discount lives. Bring cash and bring enough to close on the spot. Ask directly what someone needs to get for a card rather than opening with a lowball; in a light room, an honest question gets a real answer. Check condition carefully on discounted material, because there is usually a reason it did not sell. Bring penny sleeves and toploaders.
