The reason is straightforward. Dealers who worked a Saturday show elsewhere in the Los Angeles basin arrive Sunday having sold inventory and needing to replace it, with cash in hand and a real appetite to buy. A dealer who is full on Friday night will lowball you out of politeness. The same dealer on a Sunday afternoon will make a serious offer.
The floor is the usual full spread. Sports tables run MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL from vintage through current-year product, with rookie and prospect stock, autographed inserts, relic and patch cards, and boxing and UFC material. Graded slabs across PSA, CGC, SGC and Beckett. Pokemon vendors with sealed English and Japanese product, singles binders and vintage holos, plus Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana and Dragon Ball Super. Dollar boxes, quarter bins and raw vintage lots for budget buyers.

The Nakano hall is at 3330 Civic Center Drive, Torrance 90503, inside the Torrance Cultural Arts Center. Sunday parking in the civic center lots is free and easy. The complex is flat, stroller friendly and accessible, with restrooms on site and outdoor space adjacent. Old Torrance is walkable for lunch and the Torrance Certified Farmers Market operates on the civic center grounds.
If you are selling, a few things make a real difference. Sort before you arrive — a dealer will pay meaningfully more for an organized box than for the same cards loose, because sorting is labor. Know roughly what the top few cards are worth so you can tell a fair offer from a bad one, but do not walk in quoting eBay asking prices, which are not what anything actually sold for. Get offers from three dealers before accepting one; the spread in this room is often significant. Understand that a dealer needs margin to stay in business, so a fair offer will be below retail. And be honest about condition, because they will check.
