The November 14, 2026 I-10 Westside Show is the last Sports Cards of Houston date before the holiday rush, and for a lot of west Houston collectors that makes it the practical shopping stop of the year. Dealers know it too — the mid-November show historically brings more gift-priced inventory to the floor, more complete sets, and more of the mid-grade vintage that makes a good present without requiring a four-figure budget.
The format is unchanged from every other month in this long-running series: one ballroom at the Holiday Inn Westway Park Hotel, rows of dealer tables, free admission, free parking, and a single Saturday to work the room. Sports is the center of gravity. Expect baseball, football, basketball, and hockey across vintage and modern, star singles, commons boxes organized for set builders, team and player lots, graded slabs in cases, sealed wax, and Houston-specific Astros, Texans, and Rockets material in genuine depth. Several tables carry non-sport, Pokemon, and other trading card game inventory as well.
Hours are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, one day only. Admission is free for everyone and there is no advance ticket. Parking in the hotel lot is free. Register at the entrance to join the mailing list and enter the free prize drawing, which the promoters have run at every show in this series.
The venue is at 4606 Westway Park Blvd, inside Beltway 8 just off the Katy Freeway, an easy drive from Katy, Cypress, Jersey Village, Memorial, Spring Branch, and the Energy Corridor. The room is air conditioned and evenly lit, and the aisles are wide enough to work a box without blocking traffic behind you.
This show is best for set builders, vintage collectors, and anyone who would rather have an unhurried conversation with a dealer than fight a convention crowd. The smaller scale means prices are frequently negotiable, especially on multi-card purchases from the same table, and dealers here tend to remember repeat buyers and hold material for them. If you are new to card shows, this is an unintimidating place to learn how the room works.
Come with cash in small bills, a want list organized by set and card number, and something to carry purchases in — penny sleeves, top loaders, and a small box will save you from creased corners on the way to the car. If you are selling, sort your cards beforehand and have a realistic number in mind.
On timing: the first ninety minutes after the 9:00 AM open is when the best material moves, so an early arrival pays for itself. The last hour before 4:00 PM is when dealers get more flexible on bulk, bargain boxes, and anything they would rather not repack.
