The SWLA Collectibles Convention takes over the Habibi Shriners hall in Lake Charles on Saturday, October 17, 2026, serving Southwest Louisiana with the region's marquee collectibles gathering. Lake Charles anchors a corner of the state that does not get many hobby events, which is precisely why this one draws so well — dealers travel in from across Louisiana and East Texas, and collectors who normally have to drive to Lafayette, Baton Rouge or Houston get a full show in their own backyard.
Hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, one day only.
The Habibi Shriners facility offers free on-site parking and a large open hall with a single-level floor plan — easy to walk, easy to load in and out of. Lake Charles is directly on I-10 with straightforward access from Lafayette, Beaumont and Houston, and the casino corridor along the lakefront gives out-of-town attendees plenty of lodging and dining if they are staying overnight.
