The Flip returns to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center in Biloxi on Saturday, December 12, 2026, and it is the biggest trading card event on the Gulf Coast by a wide margin. Recent editions have filled the convention floor with well over a hundred vendors and several hundred tables, drawing dealers from ten or more states. For New Orleans collectors, Biloxi is eighty-five miles east on I-10 — under ninety minutes door to door — which makes The Flip arguably the largest card show within easy reach of the metro that is not held in New Orleans itself.
The scale changes what you can find. Sports card dealers cover every era and every sport: 1950s and 1960s Topps and Bowman vintage, deep 1970s and 1980s runs, junk-wax-era stars, and current-year Prizm, Optic, Select, Mosaic, Topps Chrome and Bowman Chrome rookies with numbered parallels and on-card autographs. Regional inventory is strong — Saints, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Southern Miss and Alabama material all move well. Graded slabs from PSA, SGC, CGC and Beckett fill hundreds of feet of display cases, and there is usually meaningful high-end product in the room. Trading card game vendors bring Pokemon in serious depth, plus Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana and Dragon Ball Super. Beyond cards: unopened wax by the case, autographed jerseys and helmets, game-used memorabilia, comics, Funko Pops and collectible figures. On-site grading submission and breaker presence are common at this show.
Doors open at 10:00 AM and the show runs to roughly 5:00 PM, one day only. Admission is a door fee — confirm current pricing with the organizer — and children are typically admitted free or at a reduced rate with a paying adult. With a single-day schedule at this scale, planning matters more than at a smaller show.
The Coast Coliseum sits at 2350 Beach Boulevard on the Biloxi waterfront with a very large free parking lot and easy I-10 and Highway 90 access. The convention hall is climate controlled with excellent lighting and wide aisles, and concessions are available on site. The Biloxi casino corridor is immediately adjacent, so lodging, dining and entertainment are all within a few minutes if you want to make a weekend of the trip.
This is a show for everyone, but especially for buyers who want selection. Serious collectors and dealers get a room deep enough to justify a full day. Set builders find commons boxes in volume. Families get a comfortable, well-lit venue with plenty of affordable material for kids. Sellers should bring inventory — with this many dealers competing, cash offers tend to be strong.
Tips: arrive before 10:00 AM and expect a line. Bring cash, and more than you think you need. Bring a rolling case or backpack. Carry sleeves, top loaders and a want list, and photograph the list as a backup. Do a reconnaissance lap of the full floor before buying anything — at a show this size, the same card can sit at three very different prices. Wear comfortable shoes and plan a mid-day break.
