Miles to Adventure is the most atmospheric game store in Gulfport, and that is a deliberate choice. Rather than one open play hall, the shop is broken into themed rooms — a vampiric setting, a science fiction room, a forest-inspired space — so a group running a campaign gets an environment instead of a folding table. It is a design decision you notice within ten seconds of walking in from Pass Road.

The inventory leans tabletop roleplaying first: Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, and the miniatures and dice that go with them, plus locally made props and accessories you will not find in a chain store. Magic: The Gathering is the main collectible card game presence, with singles and sealed stocked for players. Collectors chasing modern sports slabs will want one of the other Gulfport card shops, but anyone building a Commander deck or starting a campaign is in the right room.

At 4.9 stars across 127 Google reviews it is among the best-rated shops on the Mississippi Coast, and the owner, Terry, gets named repeatedly. Free classes for newcomers run on the events calendar, which lowers the barrier for anyone who has wanted to try a tabletop RPG but never had a group.

Hours are late by Gulf Coast standards. Closed Monday. Tuesday through Thursday 1PM to 10PM. Friday and Saturday the shop stays open until 11:30PM, which is when the long campaign sessions happen. Sunday is the short day, 1PM to 6PM.

The Pass Road location puts it minutes from downtown Gulfport with street-level entry and its own parking. If you are visiting to play rather than shop, message ahead about table availability on Friday and Saturday nights, since the themed rooms get claimed early.
