ToyLynx Trade Night kicks off October on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at ToyLynx, 650 Iwilei Road in Honolulu. This second-Thursday session falls in the sweet spot between the Keep It Aloha weekend and the Pearlridge show, which makes it the ideal midweek stop to reset your binder and hunt the cards you missed.
October is a busy month for the trading card game calendar, and this session reflects it. New Pokemon product typically arrives in early fall, and ToyLynx, as one of Oahu's largest TCG retailers, is usually the first shop on the island to have it in stock. That means the trade night doubles as a chance to rip fresh packs at the shop and immediately trade the pulls with the room. Beyond Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering players are usually deep in a new set release cycle in early October, so Commander staples and new-set chase cards trade briskly. Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana, and Dragon Ball all have a consistent presence, and sports collectors bring NFL and NBA binders as both seasons heat up.
Hours are 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM with the most traffic between roughly 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM. Come earlier if you have a specific card in mind; come later if you just want the busiest room.
ToyLynx sits in the Iwilei district near Costco, a few minutes from downtown Honolulu, Chinatown, and the H-1. Parking is available in the surrounding commercial lots, and the shop is easy to reach from Nimitz Highway. Because you are trading inside a fully stocked store, you can price-check against the singles case, buy supplies on the spot, and pick up sealed product if the trade pool inspires you.
There is no admission fee and no sign-up. Beginners, keiki with a parent, competitive players, and longtime collectors all share the same tables. If you have never traded in person before, this is the room to learn in; the regulars are patient and the shop staff sets a friendly tone.
To make the most of the night: organize your binder by game and set, bring a written want list, know the ballpark value of your top cards, and carry a little cash for balancing lopsided deals. Bring sleeves and top loaders for anything you acquire. If you are coming for the new-release action, arrive early because the freshest pulls get claimed fast.
ToyLynx and @hawaiicardshows post any schedule changes on Instagram, and the show page at hawaiicardshows.com is kept current. The next session is Thursday, October 22, and the trade night continues on the second and fourth Thursdays through the end of the year. Between sessions, ToyLynx also runs weekly league play and prerelease events for several games, so ask the staff for the shop's full event calendar if you want more than trade nights.
