🃏 About This Event

ToyLynx Trade Night's December session takes place on Thursday, December 10, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at ToyLynx, 650 Iwilei Road in Honolulu. With the fourth-Thursday date falling on Christmas Eve, this second-Thursday session is the one reliable ToyLynx trade night of the month, and it functions as the holiday edition: expect a full room, festive energy, and a trade pool shaped by gift hunting and end-of-year set completion.

December at ToyLynx is peak season. The shop's shelves are stocked with holiday product, from Pokemon collection boxes and ETBs to sealed sets across every game, and the trade night doubles as a chance to see what is available and trade toward it. Pokemon leads the room as always, with modern chase cards, Japanese exclusives and promos, and graded vintage, and there is heavy demand for completed sets and sealed product as gifts. Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! players hold steady tables, One Piece and Lorcana have grown into fixtures, and Dragon Ball keeps a loyal corner. Sports collectors bring NFL playoff-push binders and NBA rookies, and the Pearlridge show that weekend means some dealers stop by to preview inventory.

The 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM window works for students on break, downtown workers, and families shopping in the area. The room is busiest from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Come early for specific cards and late for the crowd.

ToyLynx is in the Iwilei district near Costco, minutes from downtown Honolulu, Chinatown, and the H-1, with parking in the neighboring commercial lots and easy access from Nimitz Highway. Because the trade night happens inside one of Oahu's largest TCG shops, you can price-check against the singles case, buy sleeves and top loaders on the spot, and browse holiday arrivals while waiting for a trade partner. Staff will help with quick value checks.

Admission is free with no sign-up. Beginners, keiki with a parent, competitive players, and longtime collectors share the same tables, and the tone is patient and welcoming. Parents shopping for a young collector can ask regulars what a beginner actually wants, which is often better advice than a store display.

Tips for this session: bring a binder organized by game and set, write a want list that includes gift targets, know the rough value of your top cards, and carry small bills to balance deals. Bring sleeves and top loaders. If you want to trade into sealed product for gifts, say so early; several regulars bring sealed boxes specifically to trade in December.

ToyLynx and @hawaiicardshows post schedule changes on Instagram, and the show page at hawaiicardshows.com is kept current. The Christmas Eve session on December 24 is unlikely to run; confirm before heading out. The trade night resumes its second-and-fourth-Thursday rhythm in January.
