🃏 About This Event

The October edition of Uncle Tony's Trade Night, hosted by 808 Showcase, takes place at Pearlridge Center in Aiea on Friday, October 16, 2026. As the third-Friday fixture of the Oahu trade-night calendar, it lands in the middle of a stacked stretch: the Pearlridge weekend show was the previous weekend, and the Paradise Card Show and 808 Cards and Collectibles Show both fall two days later on Sunday, October 18. If there is a night to sharpen your binder before a big show weekend, this is it.

The atmosphere is what keeps people coming back. There are no vendor tables in the traditional sense; instead, collectors sit down with each other and trade. That makes the value proposition different from a show. You are not paying retail, and neither is anyone else, so lopsided deals are rare and patient traders do well. Pokemon is the biggest category, and in mid-October the newest fall set is fully circulating, so expect illustration rares and special art cards to be the hot currency. Sports cards are a strong second, especially NFL and NBA rookies, with regular appearances by One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Dragon Ball, and Lorcana traders. Slab-for-slab trades between graded Pokemon and graded sports cards are common here.

808 Showcase, run by Datz Collectiblez, operates shops at Pearlridge and in Kapolei, and the trade night reflects that community-minded, west-side energy. The event typically begins in the late afternoon and runs into the evening. Confirm the exact start time on the organizer's Instagram the week of, since mall event windows can shift.

Pearlridge Center is at 98-1005 Moanalua Road, about 20 minutes from downtown Honolulu on the H-1. Parking is free in the mall garages, the setting is air conditioned, and the food court is right there for a break between trades. The mall setting also makes this one of the easiest venues for families; keiki can trade while parents shop.

Admission is free and there is no registration. Just show up with your binder.

First-timers will find this one of the least intimidating rooms in the hobby. Nobody has paid for a table, nobody is rushing, and asking someone what they collect is all it takes to start a conversation. Experienced collectors use the night to line up trades ahead of Sunday's shows and to catch up with local dealers who vend at the weekend events.

Tips: organize your binder so people can flip through quickly, bring a want list, carry small bills for hybrid cash-and-trade deals, and know the current market on your top cards. Pack sleeves and top loaders. If you plan to attend Paradise or the 808 Cards show on Sunday, use tonight to trade toward the cards you intend to sell there.
