About This Event

Tuesday, September 15, 2026 brings another running of the Wolfpack Collectibles TCG Card Show to Diamond 9 Sports in Placentia. This one lands two days after a busy Orange County weekend that includes the OC Card Show in Costa Mesa and two Garden Grove shows, which makes it a good spot to flip what you picked up on Saturday and Sunday or to hunt for the cards you could not find at the bigger events.

What is on the tables: Pokemon dominates, with sellers carrying everything from playable trainer cards at a dollar apiece to graded Charizards in the four-figure range, plus a steady supply of Japanese booster boxes and special sets. One Piece has become the second-biggest game at this show, and you will find leaders, alt arts and manga rares priced to move. Magic: The Gathering players will find commander singles and reserved list cards at a few tables, and Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcana and Dragon Ball Fusion World make regular appearances. The Diamond 9 counter adds a case of sports cards for anyone collecting Dodgers, Angels or Lakers.

The show runs 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Entry is free, no ticket needed. Tables for sellers are 30 dollars and are booked through the Diamond 9 Sports website.

Diamond 9 Sports sits at 1850 N Placentia Ave, Placentia, CA 92870, near the corner of Placentia Avenue and Yorba Linda Boulevard, minutes from the 57 Freeway. Parking is free in the shopping center lot. Because it is a store-hosted show rather than a hotel ballroom, the room is compact; the best trade action happens around the open tables in the middle, not at the vendor counters along the walls.

This is a good fit for families with a Pokemon-obsessed kid, for college students from nearby Cal State Fullerton looking for an affordable weeknight hobby, and for serious TCG traders who like a consistent weekly venue where the same regulars show up. Sports card collectors will find less here than at a weekend show, but the shop stock is worth a look.

Tips for the night: the 3 to 5 PM window is the quietest and gives you first pick before the after-work crowd arrives around 6. Bring cash in small bills, sleeves and toploaders for anything you buy raw, and a binder organized by set so trades go quickly. If you are new to trading, ask a vendor to price your cards for you; most will do it for free and it is a good way to learn what you actually have. Kids under 12 should stick with a parent, since the room gets crowded around the trade tables in the evening, and if you are bringing a big collection to sell, a rolling case is easier than a backpack in the tight aisles. The shopping center has a few quick dinner options, so plan to eat between trades rather than leaving and losing your spot.
