Close out September with the Wolfpack Collectibles TCG Card Show on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Diamond 9 Sports in Placentia. This is the last Tuesday show before the October card calendar kicks off in Orange County with the Tustin Card Show, TheSportsBase Fountain Valley weekend and the USA Card Show, so it is a useful evening to sell down inventory, pick up trade bait and compare notes with other collectors on which weekend shows are worth the drive.
The show is a trading card game night at heart. Pokemon sellers bring current-set singles, older holo rares, Japanese product and graded cards; One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcana and Dragon Ball Super each have dedicated tables most weeks. Because the host is a card shop, the store's own inventory is open for business too, so sports card collectors can browse a case of MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL singles and slabs while the TCG trading happens around them.
Hours are 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Admission is free. Vendor tables are 30 dollars and are reserved through the Diamond 9 Sports website, which makes this one of the least expensive places in Southern California to try selling for the first time.
Diamond 9 Sports is at 1850 N Placentia Ave, Placentia, CA 92870, just off the 57 Freeway at Yorba Linda Boulevard, with free parking in the shopping center lot. It is roughly a 20 minute drive from Santa Ana, and there are several fast-casual restaurants in the same center if you want to grab dinner before the after-work rush arrives.
Best for: Pokemon and One Piece players and collectors of any age, families introducing a child to the hobby, and anyone who prefers a small, regular, free weekly show over a crowded convention hall. First-timers will find it easy to navigate because there are only a couple dozen tables and everyone is there to trade.
Tips: arrive at 3 PM for first pick of new inventory, or after 6 PM if you want the biggest crowd of traders. Bring a binder sorted by game and set, a want list, cash in small bills, and sleeves for anything you buy. If you want to vend, book your table early in the week because the cheap price means they go fast. Wolfpack often runs giveaways on its Instagram the day of the show, so check the feed before you head over. If you are hunting for a specific chase card, ask around early; the vendors know each other and will point you to the table that has it rather than making you walk every aisle twice. And because this is the last show of the month, sellers who did not move product on the previous three Tuesdays are often ready to negotiate, which makes September 29 a strong night for buyers who bring cash and are willing to make an offer.
