A card show is a temporary event where many dealers set up tables in one venue for a day or weekend — giving you access to a huge, varied inventory and multiple buyers/sellers at once, often with room to negotiate. Shows are great for hunting hard-to-find cards, comparing dealer prices, and selling to several buyers, while shops offer consistency and community year-round. Many collectors use both.
