Finn McCool's has been trading in Daytona Beach since 2004, and it has grown sideways rather than upward — the shop now spans booths 24, 28, 29, 30 and 31 in the air-conditioned Corner Shops Mall at the Daytona Flea & Farmers Market. That footprint matters. Instead of one glass case, you get a run of them, which is why people describe walking the aisle here as slow work in the good sense.

The inventory is sports through and through: baseball, football and basketball cards spanning every era, with vintage as the genuine specialty rather than an afterthought shelf. Alongside the cards sit signed jerseys, helmets, balls and framed pieces sourced through Upper Deck, Steiner and Fanatics, plus a military collectibles section and general antiques that reflect a dealer who has been buying estates for two decades. Supplies — sleeves, top loaders, boxes — are stocked, so it doubles as a resupply run. Note that this is not a TCG stop; there is no Pokemon or Magic here, and the shop does not pretend otherwise.

A visitor in April 2026 called it "one of the best card stores I've been to," praising reasonable pricing and adding that "it feels as though the store was a piece of history." That last part is a fair description of the browsing experience. The stock is deep and idiosyncratic, and the appeal is finding something you were not looking for.

Timing is the one thing to get right. The Daytona Flea & Farmers Market operates Friday, Saturday and Sunday only, 9am to 4pm, and Finn McCool's keeps those hours — the booths are closed Monday through Thursday, so a midweek drive out to Tomoka Farms Road will find locked gates. Arrive closer to 9am if you want unhurried time at the cases; by late morning on a Saturday the aisle gets busy. The market sits just off I-95 at exit 261, parking is free and enormous, and the Corner Shops Mall is indoors and cooled, which matters in a Florida summer. Free informal appraisals are offered, so bringing a shoebox of inherited cards for a second opinion is welcome.
