Throwback GOATs started life in Miami, where its owners ran Gables Records N Comics out of a shared love of music, comics, and memorabilia. That crate-digging DNA came north with them, and their Abercorn Street storefront now gives Savannah something it did not really have: a true sports card shop where the record bins are as tempting as the display cases.

The card side runs deep across eras. Vintage sports cards sit alongside modern rookies and high-end graded slabs, spanning baseball, football, basketball, and beyond, and the owners are constantly hunting new old treasures to restock the cases. TCG collectors are not left out either. Pokemon packs and Magic: The Gathering product share space with the sports inventory, making this one of the few spots in town serving slab hunters and booster crackers under the same roof.
