St. Joseph does not have a crowded hobby scene, which is part of why Kingdom Cardz matters. Owner Rickey Stanley runs it out of a storefront on the S. Belt Highway commercial corridor, and in June 2025 he reopened after a roughly two-month buildout that roughly tripled the shop's footprint. His own summary of the project: it took about two months, and they are about triple the size now as they were before.
Sports cards lead. The cases hold rookie cards across the major sports, PSA and BGS graded slabs, and sealed wax, with a meaningful run of non-card sports memorabilia filling out the walls. Pokemon is the other pillar — the shop advertises buy, sell and trade on Pokemon specifically, and singles are part of the regular inventory rather than an afterthought. What comes through in the reviews is range rather than depth in any one niche. Customers describe an incredible selection at reasonable prices and note the memorabilia beyond just cards, and one wrote that a sports fanatic could get lost in the place in a good way.
