The Splash Page

The Splash Page is Billings' longest-running and most celebrated comic book and gaming store, offering an incredible selection of comics, Magic: The Gathering, board games, Warhammer 40k miniatures, and RPG materials. A true community hub with weekly events and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages.

The Splash Page has a well-earned place in Billings history as the city's longest-running and most beloved comic and gaming store. For decades, the shop at 2545 Central Avenue has been the gathering place for comic book fans, tabletop gamers, miniature painters, and RPG enthusiasts across the Yellowstone Valley. It's the kind of store that defines a city's geek culture — and Billings has been lucky to have it.

Comic books are at the heart of the Splash Page experience. The shop stocks an enormous selection of single issues, trade paperbacks, graphic novels, and hardcovers spanning every major publisher — Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, and beyond. Classic runs from Sandman to Spider-Man share shelf space with the latest indie releases, making the shop a treasure hunt for both longtime readers and new fans alike. The subscription pull list service ensures regulars never miss an issue.

Tabletop gaming is equally central to the Splash Page identity. The shop carries a deep selection of Magic: The Gathering — including singles, booster packs, Commander decks, and accessory products — and hosts regular Friday Night Magic and pre-release events that attract players from across Billings and the surrounding region. Board games from gateway titles to complex strategy games fill the shelves, with staff happy to recommend the right game for any group.

Warhammer 40,000 and miniature wargaming represent another major pillar of the shop. The Splash Page stocks the full Warhammer 40k range alongside Reaper and Pathfinder miniatures, with paints, brushes, basing materials, and hobby supplies to support every project. The shop's dedicated play area makes it easy to get a game in with fellow hobbyists.

Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop RPGs round out the inventory. Core rulebooks, adventure modules, supplements, and dice collections from multiple game systems are available, and the staff can steer you toward the right campaign for your group.

The Splash Page also maintains a location in Missoula, and both stores anchor the company's commitment to being Montana's premiere destination for comics and gaming. With weekly events, a passionate staff, and decades of community investment, the Splash Page is an institution.
