Omniscience Cards & Games

A southwest Las Vegas game store on W Russell Rd built around a Commander league leaderboard, Riftbound nights and MTG booster drafts, open until 10PM daily.

Omniscience Cards & Games treats organized play as its main product. The store sits in a strip center on West Russell Road in the southwest valley. Its monthly event calendar is full: Magic: The Gathering booster drafts on release weeks, regular Riftbound nights, and an in-house Commander league with a public leaderboard that tracks results over the season.

That league is the shop's signature. Players earn points across weeks of Commander games, and standings are posted online, which gives casual pods something to compete for. Newer players often get rules help from staff while browsing singles binders, and plenty of people have built their first decks here that way.

The sealed and preorder lineup covers Magic, Disney Lorcana, Riftbound and Union Arena, and event preregistration is handled through the shop's website. The play area stays clean and organized. Omniscience also keeps a Discord server and a written community code of conduct, which helps keep the tables welcoming.

Riftbound has caught on here, and the game has its own regular nights and a growing group of players. Lorcana and Union Arena players also have scheduled events, so a mixed group can usually find something to play on the same night. The staff are known for answering rules questions patiently, which helps a lot during a first draft. If you've never done a booster draft, tell the judge at sign-up. Tables usually make room for a newcomer and walk them through the pick-and-pass process.

Anyone looking for MTG events in Las Vegas outside the tourist corridor should start here. It's a local's store, and you'll recognize faces after a couple of visits. Check the online calendar before you go, since draft seats can sell out on release weekends. Hours are 11AM to 10PM seven days a week. Thursday evening drafts and weekend afternoons are the busiest times, and the store is in Suite 155.
