Round Table Games

NW 38th Street gaming hall in Lawton running One Piece and MTG prereleases, weekly Warhammer nights and D&D tables, open to 11PM on Fridays and Saturdays.

Round Table Games on NW 38th Street lives up to its name as a gathering place. It is less a browsing shop and more a place to sit down and play, with tables ready for trading card games, miniatures and roleplaying sessions most afternoons and evenings.

On the card side, the store runs organized play for Magic: The Gathering and has added the One Piece Card Game to its lineup, including prerelease events for new sets. Regulars appreciate that events start on time, and booster boxes are sometimes offered to event players at friendly prices. Thursday has a standing Warhammer night, and the staff is happy to help groups getting into Dungeons & Dragons find the books and dice they need.

Hours run 2PM to 10PM Monday through Thursday and 2PM to 11PM on Friday and Saturday; the store is closed on Sunday. That evening-heavy schedule suits players coming off a work shift or a day on post at Fort Sill. Anyone planning a long drive for a specific event should call ahead to confirm product availability, since popular releases can sell through quickly on event days.

The vibe is relaxed and community-minded. Tabletop players, card players and roleplayers share the room, which makes it easy to try something new. If you are looking for a Lawton card shop where game night is the whole point, Round Table is a reliable choice, and its website posts upcoming events and contact information.

For trading cards Lawton players can buy and immediately sleeve up for a tournament, Round Table Games keeps the focus squarely on play.
