Hobby Box
The 2023-24 hobby configuration is 1 pack of 9 cards, averaging 5 autographs, 3 base or base parallels and 1 insert. Five signatures in a box under $2,000 is an unusually high ratio for this tier, which is why Impeccable has always drawn autograph collectors rather than pure rookie-patch chasers. Base cards are printed on metal stock, so a box has real physical heft compared with paper-based premium products.
FOTL (First Off The Line)
FOTL boxes contain 10 cards. The extra card is an exclusive bonus: in 2023-24 that was a Silver Logo FOTL numbered /6, a Silver NBA Logo Autograph FOTL numbered /5, or an Elegance Rookie Jerseys Autograph FOTL numbered /5. FOTL is sold direct by Panini ahead of the wide release and appears on the secondary market far less often than hobby.
International Hobby Box
International boxes are 1 pack of 5 cards averaging 2 autographs plus 1 Silver Logo or Stainless Stars insert, drawn from an International-only checklist. They pack 8 boxes per case rather than 3, and they trade at a substantial discount to domestic hobby. Read listing titles carefully, because sellers occasionally list them as ordinary hobby boxes.

A domestic hobby or FOTL case is 3 boxes; an International case is 8 boxes. The three-box hobby case is unusually small for a product at this price and means there is no meaningful case-hit structure to chase in domestic Impeccable.

The 2024-25 range above is the least reliable on the page: the season released in autumn 2025 and has not yet built a sales record, so treat it as a placeholder pending more completed sales. The strongest season by some distance is 2019-20, where a Zion or Morant autograph on metal stock still carries a premium. Note also that Tmall Asia and International boxes sell for well below domestic hobby, and mixed listings are the most common reason a recorded "Impeccable box" sale looks unexpectedly cheap.
Chase cards, parallels and hit rates
Stainless Stars is the recurring insert family and the visual signature of the brand, alongside Silver Logo, Elegance and the various NBA Logo autograph and logoman-patch sets. Autograph parallels run through Silver, Gold, Holo Silver, Holo Gold and 1/1, with numbering generally tight enough that even the mid-tier colours are genuinely scarce. Rookie content is centred on Rookie Jerseys Autographs and the Elegance rookie signature sets.
With five autographs per box the variance is more contained than in one-card products, but the distribution is still long-tailed: most boxes return veterans and second-tier rookies, and the rare box returns a marquee logo autograph. Odds are printed on the wrapper and should be the only source you rely on.
Is Panini Impeccable worth buying sealed?
Impeccable is the best autographs-per-dollar box in Panini's high-end basketball range, which makes it a more reasonable rip than its shelf-mates. It is a weaker sealed hold. Boxes from mid-tier rookie classes have drifted sideways or down since release, the domestic case is only three boxes so there is no case-level scarcity story, and a large fraction of the checklist is veteran and legend content whose value does not compound with a rookie's career. The seasons worth holding sealed are the ones with a franchise rookie, principally 2019-20 and 2023-24, plus 2024-25 for the closed-licence argument.
How to spot fakes and resealed boxes
The most common problem with Impeccable is not a fake box, it is a misdescribed one. Domestic hobby, International and Tmall Asia boxes all exist with different contents and very different values, and all three are labelled on the box itself, so insist on a clear photo of the box face and UPC rather than a stock image. On resealing, check for tight factory shrink with a clean seam, no adhesive residue at the flap, and no soft corners where the wrap has been re-applied. Metal cards are heavier than paper, so a searched-and-swapped box can feel wrong in hand, but weighing is not a reliable test and should not replace inspecting the wrap. Buy from sellers with sealed high-end feedback.

Because domestic cases are only three boxes, shops tend to hold Impeccable rather than break it, and a local store is often the easiest place to find a sealed box at a fair price.
