The original boxes are the more interesting sealed proposition for a different reason. They are cheap, they contain hard-signed rookie autographs from the pre-sticker era, and 2014 in particular holds a checklist that has aged far better than its release price suggested. They are also genuinely old wax now, more than a decade past release, which brings the usual concerns about storage and searched product. Neither era is a strong investment case on its own; buy Inception because the box structure and the design appeal to you.
