Booster Box
The 36-pack booster box had a $161.64 MSRP and could be bought for $120–$140 through most of late 2024. By August 2026 sealed boxes sell for $280–$330, which puts Stellar Crown among the pricier main-set boxes of the era despite a modest chase list. Supply is the story: distributors stopped shipping it earlier than expected once Surging Sparks arrived, and there has been no meaningful restock since. This is the product for collectors who want a single sealed unit to hold.
Elite Trainer Box
The ETB includes nine packs, a full-art Terapagos promo, 65 sleeves, dice, condition markers and the usual storage box. MSRP was $54.99. Sealed retail ETBs now trade at $135–$165, making the per-pack cost higher than the booster box, so buy it for the box and promo rather than the packs.
Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box
The Pokémon Center edition adds exclusive foil energy cards and sells for $155–$185 sealed. The spread between it and the retail ETB is small for this set, so if you can find one near the low end it is the better buy.
Booster Bundle
Six packs at $26.94 retail. Bundles trade at $60–$75 sealed as of August 2026. Per pack this is slightly more than a booster box, but it is the most practical way to buy a handful of packs without committing to a $300 box.
Blisters and Sleeved Boosters
Three-pack blisters with a promo card (Eevee and Duraludon were the promo variants at launch) sell for $30–$40, single-pack checklane blisters for $12–$16, and individual sleeved boosters for $9–$12. Shops that ordered heavily on Stellar Crown often still have blisters at retail.
Build & Battle Box and Build & Battle Stadium
The Build & Battle Box (four packs, a 40-card ready-to-play deck and a promo) launched at $24.99 and now sells for $35–$50. The Build & Battle Stadium, which pairs two Build & Battle Boxes with energy and accessories, was $59.99 and trades at $80–$110. These are the cheapest way to get sealed Stellar Crown packs on a per-pack basis but carry less collector demand.
Chase cards and pull rates
The two Kanto starter illustration rares outrank every ex card in this set. Squirtle IR (148/142) trades at $90–$115 raw and Bulbasaur IR (143/142) at $75–$100, both driven by nostalgia and by how cleanly they grade. Dachsbun ex SIR (169/142) is the most valuable Special Illustration Rare at $35–$65, with Terapagos ex SIR (170/142) close behind at $30–$45. Hydrapple ex SIR, Lacey SIR and Galvantula ex SIR fill out the SIR slots in the $15–$25 range, and the Terapagos ex hyper rare (173/142) sits around $10–$15. A tournament-only Fan Rotom judge promo shares the set number and sells for several hundred dollars, but it does not come from packs.

Is Stellar Crown worth buying sealed?
At $300 for 36 packs the expected value from pulls does not come close to covering the box. Stellar Crown's sealed price is a supply story, not a chase-card story, and that cuts both ways. On the positive side, main-set boxes with short print windows have historically kept appreciating once they fall out of distribution. On the negative side, if The Pokémon Company decides to reprint the set into the Mega Evolution era, the price would likely fall back toward $200. It is a reasonable hold for someone who already owns Surging Sparks and Paradox Rift boxes and wants to fill out the run; it is not the first Scarlet & Violet box to buy.
How to spot fakes and resealed products
Stellar Crown booster boxes use the standard Scarlet & Violet white shrink with a clean horizontal back seam and the Pokémon logo printed on the plastic. A wrap with no logo, a loose fit, or a vertical seam is a warning sign. Inside, the 36 packs should be in four rows of nine in a consistent orientation. Packs are 33 grams within a tight tolerance and each contains a code card; packs that vary in weight or feel puffy have likely been handled. ETB shrink should show small vent holes and the Terapagos promo window should be visible through the wrap. Booster bundles from this set have factory-glued flaps; visible adhesive or a bent flap means the box has been opened.
