Sun City Games on Yandell Drive has spent years as West Central El Paso's reliable tabletop stop. The shop is split roughly in half between retail and play space: a long retail wall running TCG sealed product, glass cases of singles, board game shelves, and a Warhammer/40K paint station that gets steady use; the back half is dedicated table space for tournaments.

Magic: The Gathering is the strongest TCG category here. Singles run in flip cases behind the counter — Standard, Modern, Commander all stocked in playable depth — and the shop runs Friday Night Magic, weekly Commander pods, and prereleases on every release weekend. Pokemon cards El Paso players come in for fill a dedicated section with current SV sets plus a vintage case along the side wall.

Where Sun City Games separates itself from other El Paso card shops is the miniature side. Warhammer 40K, Age of Sigmar, and Kill Team players treat this as their home — there's a paint station with rack lighting, terrain on the tables, and weekly painting nights where regulars share techniques. The board game side is also unusually deep, with a wall organized by player count and complexity.
