Noble Warrior Gaming

East Saunders St game store pairing strong Magic: The Gathering stock and One Piece starters with miniatures, paints and RPG books for Laredo gamers.

Noble Warrior Gaming sits along E Saunders St on Laredo's east side, and it is the city's best bet for players whose hobbies spill past trading cards. The store packs a lot into a modest footprint: Magic: The Gathering product and singles, starter decks for the One Piece Card Game, some Pokemon, and a full hobby side with miniatures, model kits, diorama supplies, paints and tabletop RPG books.

For card players, Magic is the headline. The MTG card stock is deep enough that players drive in from out of town, and the owners help with deckbuilding questions whether you are building your first Commander list or upgrading a competitive one. Newcomers to One Piece can pick up a starter deck and get pointers on the basics, and Pokemon players will find a smaller but useful selection. The shop also buys and trades, and it has a reputation for working with customers at every budget level.

The hobby side is what makes this Laredo game store distinctive. Wargamers and painters will find paints, brushes, terrain and kits that are otherwise hard to source locally, along with maps and books for roleplaying campaigns. Space is tight, so expect a cozy browsing experience rather than a sprawling showroom.

Hours are 4PM to 8PM Tuesday through Thursday, 4PM to 10PM on Friday, and 1PM to 7PM on Saturday and Sunday. The shop is closed Monday. Friday evenings are the longest window and the best time to find other players around, while weekend afternoons are ideal for unhurried browsing of the miniatures and paint racks. If you need something the shelves do not have, ask about special orders; the owners regularly bring in specific Magic products and hobby supplies for customers, which beats waiting on shipping from a big online retailer.
