Olympia's only WPN Premium store, open noon to 2 AM daily on Martin Way with beer on tap, a huge play floor, and nightly leagues from Pokemon to Riftbound.

Noon to 2 AM, seven days a week. That schedule alone makes Paradox Trading Post unlike any other card shop in Olympia or, as one reviewer notes, anywhere else in the state, where most stores flip the sign by 9 PM. The shop bills itself as an acoustic game store with beer, and that is a fair summary: a bar-style counter serving local pours, a play floor that takes up more than half the square footage, and a schedule where something is running almost every night of the week.

Paradox is the only Wizards Play Network Premium store in Thurston County, and Magic: The Gathering anchors the calendar. Standard fires Thursday at 7:30 PM, Commander Night runs Fridays from 6 PM to midnight with an Open the Vault draft at 8, and Saturdays are Commander again. The rest of the week belongs to everything else: Pokemon on Wednesdays from 6 to 10 PM including sanctioned League Challenges under the Amethyst League, Flesh and Blood Armory Monday at 6:30, Gundam Mondays at 7, Digimon and Star Wars: Unlimited Tuesdays at 7, One Piece Thursdays at 7, Grand Archive Saturday at 2:30, and Riftbound Sundays at 4 PM. Hobby and Hang for miniature painters fills Monday and Tuesday afternoons.

Singles are a real strength. Three in-store kiosks let you search the inventory on the spot, and the same stock is listed on a TCGplayer Pro storefront for pickup. Sealed product covers Magic, Pokemon, Flesh and Blood, One Piece, Digimon, Star Wars: Unlimited, Gundam, Grand Archive, and Riftbound. Warhammer 40k, One Page Rules, and Heroscape players use the standing 6-by-4 tables with terrain, and a private D&D room with a fully built game table can be reserved through the store Discord.

The suite is number 214 at 9333 Martin Way East, ZIP 98516, on the Martin Way corridor northeast of downtown near the Lacey line; a second suite at 9323 Martin Way hosts overflow events. Weekday afternoons before 5 PM are the quiet window for browsing singles; Friday nights are packed. Outside food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed. Pre-orders go through Discord, and larger events are streamed on the Paradox Syndicate Twitch channel.
