The shops below stock Yu-Gi-Oh! in a form you can actually build from — singles you can pick through, sealed product across current sets, or both.

The stores worth driving to are usually the ones running locals. A weekly tournament is what keeps singles turning over, because players sell into the shop on their way out and buy on their way in, and that circulation is the difference between a case of staples and a case of whatever was hot two years ago. Konami's Official Tournament Store programme marks shops set up to run sanctioned events, though plenty of well-stocked stores sit outside it and simply run a good weekly.

A few questions separate a real Yu-Gi-Oh! store from a shop with a Yu-Gi-Oh! shelf. Do they stock current meta staples, or only what came in on trade? Do they price against a live market, and will they buy? Is there a table and a regular night? Ask about Speed Duel and Rush Duel too if that is your format, because support for them varies far more between shops than the main game does.
