Blast Off Gaming

Louisville's space-themed gaming destination with a play space for 150+. Pokémon, MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana, collectibles, and epic weekly tournaments.

Blast Off Gaming has rocketed from a basement passion project to one of Louisville's most exciting gaming destinations. The bold, space-themed store on Outer Loop opened its expanded new location in September 2025, featuring a dedicated play space that can host up to 150 people for tournaments and casual game nights. The inventory covers an impressive range of trading card games — Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, and Disney Lorcana — alongside video games, board games, TTRPGs, and pop culture collectibles. Built by locals and for locals, Blast Off has earned a reputation for fair market pricing on singles and sealed product, with staff whose genuine passion for gaming creates a welcoming atmosphere for players of all ages and experience levels. Friday Night Magic tournaments, Pokémon leagues, and special launch events keep the calendar packed. The grand opening weekend featured free MTG pre-release tournaments and complimentary refreshments, setting the tone for a community hub that goes well beyond retail.
