Topps Vault Marvel Is Out Today: Two Cards, Roughly $700, and Florence Pugh's First Autograph

Two Cards a Box, and Both of Them Are Hits

2026 Topps Vault Marvel has a street date of today, Wednesday, September 23. It is one of the most expensive non-sports boxes Topps has ever put out, and it is built on a simple promise: there is no base set. Each hobby box contains two packs, and across those two packs you should get one relic card and one autograph or sketch card. Every box also includes an oversized original art box topper.

Topps opened presales on August 11 through an EQL raffle at $679.99 per box. According to Checklist Insider, the price moved to $699.99 on release day, and presale listings on eBay were already sitting well above that, with many asking north of $1,100 before a single box had shipped.

What Is in the Box

• Two packs per box: one relic card, plus one autograph or sketch card.
• Vault Originals box topper: a 6.5 x 4.25 inch original art card on thick 76pt stock, with Black, Red and Gold parallels. Checklist Insider lists it as a 20-card series with art by Ariel Diaz.

• Marvel Diamonds - a 91-subject relic set starting at Silver numbered to 50, climbing through Black, Red and Gold. These are the cards with real gems embedded.
• True Greatness - 32 subjects, starting at Black numbered to 10.

The Signers

Topps has loaded this checklist with film talent. Signers include Harrison Ford, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, Michael B. Jordan, Glenn Close, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kat Dennings and Elizabeth Olsen. The name collectors will chase first is Florence Pugh, who signs as Yelena Belova in the Ink 616 set. Checklist Insider lists her as a first-time signer.

Hiddleston appears across the most sets, including a From the Set Autograph Relic tied to Loki's Palace throne. A Harrison Ford autograph relic uses the presidential podium from his turn as Thaddeus Ross.

Should You Buy a Box?

Be honest about the math. At roughly $700 retail and much more on the secondary market, you are paying for two cards. Many autographs in this product will land on a lower-demand character or actor, and a common relic from a 91-subject set will not return the box price. The value is concentrated in a handful of names and the low-numbered parallels.

• Buy a box if you love opening premium product and are happy to own whatever comes out.
• Buy singles if you want a specific actor. Pugh, Reynolds, Evans and Ford autos will be listed within days, and the first week of a premium release is usually when prices are least predictable.
• Join a break if you want a shot at a specific character without the full box cost. Only use breakers with a public track record and a clear spot-assignment method.
