Sanctum Comics Games & Cards

Temecula game-and-comic shop with Magic, Pokemon, Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards, a Friday late night and owners who run events for several card games.

Sanctum Comics Games & Cards mixes three hobbies under one roof on Ynez Road. Weekly comic pulls from Marvel and DC share space with trading card games and miniatures, so it is the kind of store where a Magic player, a Pokemon collector and a Warhammer painter can all shop in the same trip.

On the card side, Sanctum stocks Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh!, and its website includes a card condition guide and a Magic deck submission tool, which makes it easier to request cards for a list before you arrive. Reviewers single out the owners as knowledgeable and invested in the local scene, noting that they host events for various card games and will order in product you do not see on the shelf.

For tabletop fans, the shop carries Warhammer 40K and Games Workshop product along with paints and supplies from Monument Hobbies and The Army Painter, plus Dungeons & Dragons materials. Comic readers can set up a subscription so new issues get held for pickup.

Timing matters here because Sanctum is closed on Mondays. It opens at noon Tuesday through Sunday, stays open until 8PM most days and runs latest on Friday, until 10PM, which is the natural night to catch players in the store. Sunday is short, closing at 4PM, so plan weekend visits for Saturday if you want time to browse.

If you are searching for Pokemon cards in Temecula alongside comics and minis, this store is a compact, community-first option off Ynez Road. Newer players get a friendly entry point as well: reviewers describe staff who are happy to walk customers through the selection, whether they are seasoned collectors or just starting a first deck. If you are building a Magic list, submitting it through the website ahead of time can save a trip. Hours can shift around events, so a quick call to 951-296-6600 before a long drive is a good idea.
